Family Violence Coordinating Council

The Family Violence Coordinating Council is an interagency coalition of professionals that include human service agencies, attorneys, legal aid, judges, police officers and health care providers. The
members work together to improve and increase the resources available to deal with domestic and family violence.

The Family Violence Coordinating Council is a component of the Council of Community Services, a comprehensive community planning agency. If you would like more information about our programs, please contact us.

 

Intimate Partner Violence 101

The Family Violence Coordinating Council is pleased to announce they are hosting Intimate Partner Violence 101 on Friday, June 7, 2013, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The cost to attend this training is $25.00, this includes a boxed lunch. The training will be held at the Roanoke Police Academy.

Who should attend? This training is intended for anyone who wishes to further their knowledge on the dynamics of domestic violence and the impact that it has on our community, children, friends, and family.
