As Director of Volunteer Services, Alison Jorgensen oversees the local volunteer center, Volunteer Roanoke Valley, and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. Alison sits on several planning and advisory committees for various organizations in the Roanoke Valley. In addition, Alison is Secretary for the Virginia Senior Corps Association, a position she has held for three years. Currently, she is studying to become a Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA), the only internationally recognized professional certification for the volunteer management field.
